[Modification of the whip-mix articulator for reproducible fixation of various jaw relations]. 1978

The Whip Mix articulator is an Arcon device, which, in combination with the quick mount face bow, represents a useful prosthetic instrument for practice. Modified as described it enables the practitioner to obtain reproducible THIOP and IOP jaw relations. Also, the concept of "long centric" may be applied to reconstructive work.
