[Delayed operative management of isolated closed femur shaft fractures in adults]. 1985

During the period 1975-1980 212 fractures of the femur of 201 patients were treated. The series consists of 69 closed fractures of the femur being the only injury of this patients. The reason for this procedure and the choice of the different types of metallic fixation were discussed.
