To correct pathologic conditions and to prevent future problems, all supernumerary, impacted, and malposed teeth should be evaluated with prospects of providing an anatomically acceptable solution. Through logical clinical and radiologic resources, localication of the malpositioned structure is possible. Correction or control of the affected tooth may follow the tenets of deft, delicate, and accurate surgery in consultation with an orthodontist, a cooperative relationship based on mutual respect.
