Changing high school students' attitudes toward disabled people. 1987

V Florian, and D Kehat

The modification of social stereotypes is a difficult challenge and has traditionally been attempted by means of individual methods such as the provision of factual information. In the study reported here, three different methods of influencing attitudes were combined in an effort to modify high school students' attitudes toward the disabled. Results suggest that combining methods has potential for success.
