is a staff psychiatrist, is a clinical social worker, and is a gynecologist, all at Orlando VAMC in Florida. Dr. Lamvu also is a professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando.

Although the initial findings involving the use of ketamine in suicidal patients are promising, further research is needed on the short - and long-term effects of this medication.
