[Long-term drug therapy in chronic obstructive lung diseases]. 1988

The actual strategies of long-term treatment of COLD are reviewed. Drugs are the main component of long-term therapy. Based on the knowledge of essential mechanisms of the pathogenesis of COLD, especially in bronchial asthma, the principles of the therapy are described. Until now, this treatment is only symptomatical.
