This report describes 75 cases of reliable 1-2-hour surgical anesthesia of newborn to adult squirrel monkeys, with rapid induction and recovery, using a single intramuscular dose of alphaxolone-alphadolone (doses between 11.5 and 30 mg/kg body weight).
