[The importance of cytologic study methods in the preoperative morphologic diagnosis of ovarian tumors]. 1988

The results of cytologic and histological diagnosis were compared in 779 cases of ovarian tumors. They were found to match in 96.7%; histologic pattern of tumor was identified on the basis of cytologic data in 76.3% of cases.
