Purulent conjunctivitis caused by group B streptococci. 1977

To the already known pathological pictures caused by group B streptococci, mucopurulent conjunctivitis is added. Clinical pictures in adult and children are described shortly. Bacteriological findings are added. Pharyngeal streptococci of the same group found in some cases in people nearby, may be incriminated as the source of infection of conjunctiva.
