Terrible Triad Elbow Fracture Dislocation with Ipsilateral Triceps Avulsion and Radial Shaft Fracture: A Case Report. 2020

We report an unusual combination of injuries, terrible triad elbow fracture dislocation with ipsilateral avulsion of the triceps, and radial shaft fracture in a 23-year-old man. He was managed surgically and had good postoperative outcomes. Evaluation of the triceps tendon avulsion injury is difficult in this context, such as problems evaluating the rotator cuff injuries after a shoulder fracture dislocation. Because of the diagnostic difficulty, a high index of suspicion is necessary.
