Serological studies on twelve species of Candida. 1977

E W Fraser

Two main types of immunological reactions are tested in twelve species of Candida. The agglutination reaction produces agglutination varying from +/-, or trace, to ++++ or .100 per cent agglutination. This is due to cross-reactions among the Candida and cannot be completely removed by adsorption. The precipitin reactions seem to give the most specific results, and most of the cross-reaction bands are adsorption-removable.
