A colorimetric method for measuring the candidacidal activity of leucocytes. 1986

The candidacidal activity of mouse neutrophils was determined by a colorimetric method, using a tetrazolium dye that detects living, but not dead, yeast cells. The assay is carried out in microtitre trays, read using a multiwell scanning spectrophotometer (ELISA reader), and can be analysed by computer.
