[Free gingival grafts in muco-gingival surgery: presentation of clinical cases]. 1978

Several indications of the free gingival graft have been reviewed. When utilized alone, this procedure allows to increase the height of the attached gingiva, to stabilize a recession or to prepare a sufficient zone of attached gingiva before placing a prosthesis. To cover one or several recessions, the gingival graft has to be placed in a first step and then a flap is repositioned coronally.
