[Changes in the major duodenal papilla detected during reoperations for benign diseases of the biliary tract]. 1986

Benign diseases of the major duodenal papilla were detected in 77 of 120 patients (64.1%) reoperated upon after cholecystectomy in 1968-1984. Active surgical tactics for diseases of the papilla resulted in less amount of reoperations in this disease (from 7.8% to 2.7%). Good results were obtained in 54 of 60 patients examined in the remote period after surgery.
