[Diagnostic problems of infectious-toxic shock in acute pneumonia patients at the prehospital stage]. 1987

Z E Abovskaia, and V A Razmanov, and G P Laka

An infective-toxic shock, one of the earliest complications of acute pneumonia, is now rarely recognized at the prehospital stage. Its hypodiagnosis resulted mainly from inadequate patients' examination, underestimation of the signs of a shock or their incorrect interpretation, and insufficient knowledge of physicians of a possibility of its development in this disease.
