The authors present in detail the method of reconstructing the larynx after extended fronto-lateral laryngectomy using a mucochondrial nasoseptal graft. The method has been used in 61 cases of laryngeal cancer arising not only from the glottis but also from the laryngeal ventricle, the vestibular fold and part of the epiglottis. After describing other reconstruction techniques after vertical laryngectomy the authors point out the advantages of mucochondrial nasoseptal graft.
