[Evaluation of the nonspecific reactivity of the body in pulmonary tuberculosis by means of a "skin window"]. 1978

Cell reaction of the interstitial tissue in the aseptic inflammation areas was studied to determine the nonspecific reactivity of the organism in patients with infiltrative tuberculosis of the lungs. Rebuck's "skin window" method modified by Shurenkova was used. Results of investigations conducted in 15 patients and 10 healthy individuals indicated the absence in them of any significant difference in the character of the inflammatory exudate. Consequently, infiltrative tuberculosis of the lungs coursed against the background of unchanged nonspecific reactivity of the organism.
