The effects of albendazole treatment on spring-rise in faecal nematode egg output and reproductive performance in the ewe. 1986

O Nilsson, and G Johnelius

The effects of albendazole treatment in late autumn and winter on the spring-rise in faecal nematode egg output and reproductive performance in the ewe were investigated. The control measure effectively prevented the egg output in spring and lambs born to treated ewes had increased birthweights in comparison with those born to untreated ewes.
