[Internal urethrotomy under urethral anesthesia]. 1986

A 64-year-old male patient with anterior urethral stricture was treated with internal urethrotomy after the instillation of 10 ml of 2% lidocaine into the urethra. This technique did not interfere with visual acuity and gave satisfactory analgesia for the patient.
