Reversal of the anti-implantational effect of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LRH) by estradiol-17 beta and progesterone, alone and in sequence. 1979

The use of estradiol-17 beta and progesterone, alone or in sequence, to reverse the anti-implantational effect of 100 and 500 micrograms LRH has been studied. Sequential administration of the steroids was most efficacious in reversing the effect of 100 micrograms while progesterone alone proved to be the only treatment inhibiting the effect of 500 micrograms LRH. A possible difference in mechanism of action of the two doses of LRH is discussed.
