This paper offers a summary of the general findings from a study on unilateral sensorineural hearing loss as well as some comments with regard to possible reasons for outcome. Additional comments are provided on the management of unilaterally hearing-impaired children, future directions for research, and an emphasis on the limitations and interpretations of this investigation.
