[Secondary correction and late sequelae of operated lip-jaw-palate clefts]. 1986

S Krupp

A prerequisite to a successful secondary cleft lip and nose repair is the proper alignment of the upper and lower jaw in occlusion. A wise choice of up to date techniques for secondary correction of cleft lip and nose deformities provides good to excellent results. These are facilitated by transplantation of cartilage from the ear.
