[Treatment of suppurative and septic diseases in children using ultrasonic cavitation]. 1985

A A Ismaĭlov, and R A Kuliev

Under treatment were 75 children with symptoms of surgical sepsis. The low frequency sonication of the infection foci was used in the complex treatment of 39 of them. The contact media composed of detergent solutions is shown to be most effective. The use of ultrasonic cavitation results in a more rapid decrease of intoxication, normalization of immunological indices, shorter periods of treatment and less lethality.
