Hospital energy conservation grants program now under way. 1979

A three-year, $900 million grant program, a part of the recently passed National Energy Act, will make grant funds available to not-for-profit hospitals and schools to help identify, implement, and install energy conservation measures. The following article describes the basic mechanisms and procedures for gaining access to the grant funds, according to the proposed regulations.
