Rapid treatment of psychosis with haloperidol. 1979

Rapid parenteral treatment of agitated psychotics is now possible with haloperidol. A review of its pharmacology and clinical trials is presented, and protocols are derived which will rapidly effect and maintain a substantial remission in a majority of cases.
