A 15-year review is made of contour restoration by custom silicone inlay technique. Eighty-three patients have undergone surgery since 1962. The indications, preparation of moulage and implant, surgical technique, and care of complications are described. The custom silicone technque has proved successful, precise, and relatively free of complications. Tolerance of uncomplicated implants has been permanent.
