Effect of haemothorax on pulmonary artery wedge pressure. A case report. 1979

The pulmonary artery wedge pressure was increased because of the development of a haemothorax. After drainage of the haemothorax, the pulmonary artery wedge pressure was found to be less than that required to maintain an effective cardiac output and a rapid infusion of blood was required.
