[Time resolution ability in dichotic hearing experiments (author's transl)]. 1979

H von Wedel

Concerning auditory analysis of speech signals time resolution is one of the most important ability of the hearing system. In psychoacoustic experiments with dichotic represented bursts of noise the detection and time resolution of short changes of interaural time delay and noise coherence are investigated. The results of normal and pathological binaural hearing are discussed and compared to other auditory time analysis experiments.
