Renal cell carcinoma in a horseshoe kidney associated with von Hippel-Lindau disease. 1979

The first case of a renal cell carcinoma in a horseshoe kidney associated with von Hippel-Lindau disease is reported. Manifestations of the disease process as well as important points concerning the urological care of these patients are discussed.
