[Late results after preirradiation of mastocarcinomas (author's transl)]. 1979

A Grassberger, and R Seyss

The results of 80 cases treated with preirradiations are described. The follow-up observation time was longer than ten years. The results are statistically evaluated. It must be emphasized that lenticular skin metastases could be prevented in most of the cases. Eleven cases of double mastocarcinoma were submitted to follow-up examinations. Only two of the patients whose first and second tumors were preirradiated showed a survival time of twelve to fourteen years.
