Omental abscess: an unusual complication of cesarean section. 1979

B T Williams

A case of an omental abscess following low transverse cesarean section is described. The incidence of cesarean section is rising, and with this rise one might expect an increase in the number and types of complications. A review of the literature fails to demonstrate any mention of this particular complication. In the evaluation of patients, one must consider not only the known but also the possible.
