Pancarditis in Trypanosoma vivax infection in cattle. 1979

In cattle chronically infected with T. vivax Y 58, a mononuclear pancarditis with extravascular trypanosomes is described. It has been considered as a local immune response to these extravascular trypanosomes. No autoantibodies for heart tissue have been found.
