[Clinical course of ischemic heart disease with intact, according to angiography, coronary arteries]. 1979

V S Gasilin, and R A Grigor'iants, and N M Lobova

Clinical analysis was conducted of 61 patients with ischemic heart disease with no stenosing changes in the main coronary arteries as demonstrated by angiography. The severity of the pain syndrome, the frequency of cicatricial changes in the myocardium and the tolerance of physical load were studied. The causes of ischemic heart disease in patients of this group were analysed. The principal importance in the pathogenesis of ischemic heart disease in the absence of morphological changes in the coronary arteries is attributed to spasm and microcirculatory disorders.

D008833 Microcirculation The circulation of the BLOOD through the MICROVASCULAR NETWORK. Microvascular Blood Flow,Microvascular Circulation,Blood Flow, Microvascular,Circulation, Microvascular,Flow, Microvascular Blood,Microvascular Blood Flows,Microvascular Circulations
D008875 Middle Aged An adult aged 45 - 64 years. Middle Age
D009128 Muscle Spasticity A form of muscle hypertonia associated with upper MOTOR NEURON DISEASE. Resistance to passive stretch of a spastic muscle results in minimal initial resistance (a "free interval") followed by an incremental increase in muscle tone. Tone increases in proportion to the velocity of stretch. Spasticity is usually accompanied by HYPERREFLEXIA and variable degrees of MUSCLE WEAKNESS. D003327 Coronary Disease An imbalance between myocardial functional requirements and the capacity of the CORONARY VESSELS to supply sufficient blood flow. It is a form of MYOCARDIAL ISCHEMIA (insufficient blood supply to the heart muscle) caused by a decreased capacity of the coronary vessels.
