[Our experience in the treatment of duodenal ulcer with cimetidine]. 1979

P Ianev, and R Karadzhova, and E Tilkiian

The authors have treated 23 patients with duodenal ulcer under clinical and partially under out-patient department conditions with cimetidin 0.8 g daily in the course of 25 days. The results obtained are as follows: in 100 per cent -- abating of all clinical symptoms, in 56.25 per cent -- elimination of niche at X-ray examination and in 18.75 per cent -- diminution of ulcer size. The authors lay stress upon the good tolerance of the drug and absence of side effects.
