[Drug influence of benzopyrones on experimental ascites (author's transl)]. 1977

The effect of the treatment with benzopyrones has been examined in dogs with experimental ascites (provoked by constriction of the vena cava inf.). Five weeks after cava-constriction nine of the twelve treated and only two of the untreated animals were free of ascites.
