The incorporation of 32P-orthophosphate into phosphatidylethanolamine and phosphatidylcholine in vas deferens was increased by incubation with cocaine and denervation enhanced the action of cocaine on phospholipid metabolism in vas deferens. These results suggested that cocaine directly affects the cell membrane of vas deferens and stimulates phospholipid metabolism.
