[Fractionated low dose radiotherapy]. 1977

20 cases of head and neck cancer underwent radiotherapy at low dose rate (2 rad/min) in a clinical trial. Final results were unsatisfactory in terms of both survival and complications. A radiobiological analysis of the high rate of complications is made.
