[Implantation of lid magnets in cases of paretic lagophthalmos (author's transl)]. 1980

Implantation of permanent magnets in the eye lids in cases of paretic lagophthalmos appears to be the best method of reconstructing natural lid closure. Besides the author's own experience with lid magnet implantation, general problems connected with this type of surgery are discussed.
