A brief account is given of various anticoagulative measures which are under discussion at present. An attempt is made by the author a recommendation for gynaecology and obstetrics which is bases on the author's own more than 20 years of experience in the field described. - Emphasis is laid on the need for and feasibility of general medicamentous prophylaxis.
