[Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty of carotid stenoses]. 1984

The use of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty for the treatment of stenoses of the carotid artery in three patients is reported. In two cases, the artery could be dilated to its original lumen and in the third a significant dilatation was achieved.
