[Course of the wound process during treatment with immobilized proteolytic enzymes]. 1983

A S Kogan, and L A Semenova, and A M Gonchar, and L K Kulikov, and S A Morozov

Clinical, morphological, biochemical and bacteriological examinations have shown the immobilized proteolytic enzyme "profezym" to shorten the phase of cleaning the wound and in combination with antiseptic drugs to lessen the bacterial dissemination of the tissues as well as to strengthen and accelerate regeneration processes both in acute pyo-necrotic diseases and in continuous non-healing wounds.

UI MeSH Term Description Entries
D010447 Peptide Hydrolases Hydrolases that specifically cleave the peptide bonds found in PROTEINS and PEPTIDES. Examples of sub-subclasses for this group include EXOPEPTIDASES and ENDOPEPTIDASES. D003131 Combined Modality Therapy The treatment of a disease or condition by several different means simultaneously or sequentially. Chemoimmunotherapy, RADIOIMMUNOTHERAPY, chemoradiotherapy, cryochemotherapy, and SALVAGE THERAPY are seen most frequently, but their combinations with each other and surgery are also used. D004800 Enzymes, Immobilized Enzymes which are immobilized on or in a variety of water-soluble or water-insoluble matrices with little or no loss of their catalytic activity. Since they can be reused continuously, immobilized enzymes have found wide application in the industrial, medical and research fields. Immobilized Enzymes,Enzyme, Immobilized,Immobilized Enzyme
