[Burned patients center and hospital hygiene (author's transl)]. 1978

P Leclercq

The author specifies that seriously burned patients, i.e. over 15% of body surface, should be treated in specialized centers given the hygiene problems they present. He describes the main principles that should guide the conception and realization of such a center stressing the isolation from the general hospital and technical aspects that prevent contamination of the areas and cross-infections of patients.
