[Mechanism of activation of human oncogenes]. 1983

In this work a brief review about the experiments leading to the identification of the genetic material involved in cell neoplastic transformation is made. It explains the cloning of oncogenes, the relation existing between the different human cellular oncogenes, and between human oncogenes and retrovirus oncogenes, and the alteration of the DNA nucleotide sequence conducing to transforming activity.
