Management of flexor hallucis longus tendon injuries. 1984

R P Reinherz

Acute trauma is being seen with increasing frequency by the podiatric surgeon. Tendon pathology may be obvious, as noted through impaired function of a part, or it may be more subtle, suggesting merely localized tenderness. Lack of appropriate management of such injuries can result in major biomechanical alterations. This author describes flexor hallucis longus tendon injuries and their follow-up care.
