The authors measured IgG, IgA and IgM concentrations in cord-blood of 400 samples, divided in 200 males and 200 females, by laser-nephelometric technique. They believe that Ig-test is a valuable method for phoetal and/or neonatal infections screening and suggest new ranges, divided by sex.
