[Bronchial haemangiopericytoma (author's transl)]. 1978

H Stanulla

Primary haemangiopericytoma of the lung is very rare. Up to now 36 cases of lung origin have been reported in the world literature. All of them were peripheral lung tumours. In this paper report is given on a malignant (central) haemangiopericytoma of the right main bronchus in a 27 years old female. The clinical features, the morphological findings, the differential-diagnosis, the therapy and the prognosis of these lung tumours are discussed.
