Eight years ago, in March 1977, ICN's Board of Directors sought an investigation into resources available for nursing research throughout the world in an attempt to help countries who were looking for support from the international nursing community. The report, finalized with help from Susan Gortner (San Francisco) and Bryn Davies (Edinburgh) was presented to the Board of Directors at their meeting earlier this year.
