Amyloid infiltration of the levator palpebrae superioris muscle: case report. 1983

Intraorbital amyloidosis has rarely been described. This case is unique in its referral pattern, isolated levator muscle involvement, and lack of a palpable mass, proptosis, and extraocular muscle involvement. Amyloidosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of ptosis.
