The most important and least recognized errors in the interpretation of cephalometric teleradiographs include: 1) the consequences of lack of recognition of a dissymmetry of the base of the skull in sagittal facial measurements, 2) the serious inconveniences of recording teleradiographs on a single reference point, for the understanding of facial growth, and 3) the inconveniences of the choice of certain conventional landmarks in this comprehension.
