[Stomach perforation and other complications after splenectomy]. 1978

The complications of 151 cases of splenectomy are analyzed, the methods of their prevention discussed. As a special complication two cases of gastric fistula following splenectomy are reported. As prevention we recommend several broad Lembert sutures to invert the entire danger zone.
